Oh…It was so heart-rending, Piniriel and Legolas listening to their parents' fighting. At least he has a warm baby to hug.)
Hopefully, Saida and Ithildim will help Legolas. I liked the way she signed the note, but I noticed you made this chapter nice and short to add some suspense!
Btw, did I miss something, or did you post chps 6&7 together? They came up at the same time. Anyways, awaiting next chapter.D
Author's Response: Nope, you did not miss anything! These were originally one part of the same chapter, so I posted them together because they are thematically similar :) I too hold Ithildim and saida will be able to help legolas. They are good friends, I think. And thank you for noticing saida's signature; I have tried to give each of them little things to distinguish their personalities. Thank you again for taking the time to review, as usual, Arasa!

Great chapter, as always.) I can't believe Gwaerain's transformations! She wants so badly to protect her children, she's turning into exactly what she wants to protect them from.
Only thing I can say would make this easier to read, is you know how you have it in previous chapters? The big spaces aren't between each line, so it makes it seem more like a REAL real book. Also, being careful to add commas between compound sentences and x2 adjectives adds to the flow for the reader (Plz don't hurt me).
I only say it because everything you write has such a beautiful, positive whirl to it! It's the little details that make this seem professional quality. So thnx for posting and updating so regular.D Have a great weekend!
Author's Response: Oh I would never hurt anyone for well-meant feedback! I live for specific constructive criticism. It is very helpful and I truly appreciate that you took the time to tell me about the spacing and punctuation. My computer is on the fritz so I uploaded this from my phone; I will go back and change the spacing as soon as I have time to fight with my phone's internet browser. :) I will keep the comma feedback in mind as I edit the next few chapters. I am glad that it seems gwaerain still comes across as believable to you. Thank you, as always Arasa, for taking the time to read and then write a review!

Ah, great story. It's so nice to read something in which the 'thee's thou's' are actually placed correctly! I've read so many stories like 'Please, stop fightingeth! It would sucketh mightly if thou didst dieth!" hee
I like this depiction of Aragorn. He wasn't all 'heavy is the head that wears the crown' jizz; I'm sure he had time for misadventures and all that good stuff! Besides, no one ever seems to talk about how Faramir as steward would have interacted, and obviously become friends with Estel. They make a great team in your story.
Believable, is your dialoge. Keep up the good work...you must:)
Author's Response:

Well, I can’t believe it.
UnnamedElement Elizabeth (are you going to change that, by the way, am thinking of a name, or gonna make that kind of your trademark, you think?). Only ask because I’m starting to think of you as that, and if you change it, I may not be able to find your stories again! Lol. Anyway, you’ve done it again. I just can’t believe how lovely this was!
It painted such a pretty picture, the hair coming out of Legolas’ braid and into his face…Legolas wrinkling his nose…*sighs*…I fear that particular image is gonna stick with me a long while. ‘He is sickening, yet I love him for it’… absolutely captures Gimli and his real concern and love for him, yet inability to show it. At least Legolas knows him well enough now to see what he really feels. I think that’s all it took for them, bridging the gap. .. Just knowing that they sailed together is such a happy thought.
Sooo… do you have any stories posted on other sites? And if so, under what pseudonym? I’d love to read them. Faerie says there’s only two on here. This story is simply beautiful, and it deserves to be read!D Have a great day, and sorry for rambling on!
Author's Response: I will not be changing my screenname. I've been using it for about 10 years and can't imagine going by anything else. I write under the same pseudonym on one other site (about 16 LotR stories); the link can be found listed as my "website" on my profile. And I am so pleased to hear that you liked the images, and Gimli's rapport with Legolas--gimli holds an exceptionally special place in my heart. Thank you, Arasa, for always always taking the time to write a review!

Oo, this was so well written.) I loved the 'he, who slept sprawled all over the bed, curled against me, a hand on my belly, even when the flatness betrayed no child.' So sweet.
Author's Response:
Thank you!
