I MUST apologize. I have watched this story go up and up and up somewhere else and was so wrapped up in my silly world and stuff.... I've not read it. The thought was always in the back of my mind... I REALLY need to read this someday. After all,, she is Rohirrim.
And we know I LOVE my Rohirrim. Adore them to the point of almost obsession.
so today, after taking TOO much cough syrup and now being as lethargic and limp as a wet dishrag, I decided - well what the heck?
I think I will enjoy and savor this one... once chapter at a time. This was a very enjoyable start...
Author's Response: I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to see a review from you. I must have spent a good 2 years reading fanfic before I decided to try my hand at it. I think I read every Legomance on the internet and then decided to give Haldir stories a try. And then I stumbled across yours on oeam and fell in love with your Empty Vessel story. It was one of only a few stories I read more than once. Bronwyn is one of my favorite ofc's of all time. It wasn't long after coming to the end of yours that I decided to try writing my own. Now I have 22 in all. I just have to tell you what a big influence you were for me. I'm afraid I've been just as guilty, seeing that you have a new story and being too wrapped up in my own to read. I too love the Rohirrim, my fav humans in ME. I will definitely have to find the time and set it aside to start on yours. I do hope you will enjoy Journey. It's not your typical ME tale and just about all of my characters are my own, with special appearances by certain canon. It is so nice to see a review from what I consider fanfic royalty, lol. Thanks and I hope to hear from you again.

Author's Response: Poor Alric, he tries to do the right things and he really loves Terrwyn as the daughter he never had. I think he feels he's honoring his deceased wife in a way. She would be proud to know that he took the young girl in and gave her a home.

Author's Response: Taldred is very near and dear to my heart. Terr could have just settled. She knows he loves her and would take care of her, but she just couldn't live with that. Just as she feels there is someone out there for her, she knows there is someone for Taldred too. Unfornately, it's not her. But don't worry. Taldred will be fine. If I ever get enough time, I'd love to write a short story for him.

Author's Response: Aw, sounds very romantic. First kisses are so important arent's they. We never forget. Mine happened while vacationing with my parents, during a walk with a local boy. One kiss and then I was on my way back home. I'm glad I let Taldred be Terr's first. I knew he would make it very special for her.
