I love this fic- it really needs a sequel:)
Author's Response:Glad you like it! There are three sequels already posted - The Most Precious Gift, No Secrets and Alike in All Things. I've put them in a series called The Course of True Love. Pretty sure you've already read them :-)
I just found this series of yours! Lovely. I look forward to reading the rest. I am already enjoying Legolas' sneakiness, not revealing who he was immediately, and Elrohir appears to take that pretty well. And there is such wonderful interaction between them.
Author's Response:Thank you! Yes, Elrohir took Legolas' deception pretty well, but there again, he was embarrassed to have been overheard saying what he did about Legolas, so I think he was prepared to let bygones be bygones.
Thanks for reviewing :)
A great story, I enjoyed it very much and both your Elrohir as well as Legolas are quite adorable in their earnest desire to be on their best behaviour and become friends!

Author's Response:Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Legolas/Elrohir is my OTP, so it always pleases me when other people appreciate the way I write them :)
Thanks for reviewing!
Haha! I read the majority of this fic with anticipation, waiting for 'Las to reveal himself! :D And I loved the image at the end of 'Las looking so dishevelled. I bet Elrohir's just disappointed he wasn't the one to get the prince into that state!
Author's Response:*g* Yes, who else could it have been? Don't worry, Elrohir will have plenty of opportunity to get Legolas into that state later.

Ah- that is a WONDERFUL story, Naledi! I am so glad you posted it here and I found it. Love the light touch you have and the concentration on telling the story and not overloading the decription. The relationship is beautifully developed and the rakish way Legolas appears, collar up and crown askew - perfect! Hope there is going to be more soon!
Author's Response:Thanks, Ziggy, I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
There's more coming in this universe very soon: a couple of light fics that follow on immediately from this, then a longer, much more angsty tale that brings Elladan into the picture.
I really enjoyed this. It shows just how much difference there is between a first impression made by words and a first impression made in person. (I think Elrohir will discover that the year will go too fast for his liking. Perhaps he will ask to stay longer?)
Thank you so much for sharing this.
Author's Response:Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed this. Yes, I think Elrohir would love to stay longer than a year, but he'll be glad to see Elladan, too.
