@Naledi, I thought automatics were better for hills, they dont go backwards when there in drive...

It's by far the best car for traffic jams. And as our roads are just one long traffic jam I'm surprised that more people don't use automatics. Less good for hills and ice, though.

I always thought I preferred the control of a manual, but the last company car I had before I chucked in my job and had to make do with a bike was automatic. I'm now a convert.

The lessons themselves are fine :D I quite enjoy driving with this instructor - the previous one was awful.

It's going quite well. I am learning automatic because I do not want to feel as if I am working at driving.

I re-posted one of my longer reviews per author. The earliest of these reviews are from the MEFAs in 2010, which means that the work reviewed is all fairly recent. The selection is rather idiosyncratic and a couple of the stories are perhaps only marginally Silm fic, but I can vouch for it that the stories are all excellent!
