Summary: When it all began, you simply took a blind dive into the unknown. But would have you offered your love to the one you worship, had you known the price he would have to pay for loving you back? Would you trust yourself to know between right and wrong? If you could see the hopeless end of your journey, would you still take the road? And when all was over, would you be blind to see a new road lying at your feet? Would you dare follow it? Would you, Faramir?

Recommender's comments: I really appreciate the way December consider the complexities of emotion inherent in an incestuous relationship. It's not something I see very often, and when it is written, people seem to overlook the emotional coils and prohibitions of such an attraction, when that is actually what they should focus on the most. It's really well done in this story.
The sex is revelatory and savage and beautiful, and the two brothers -- well, they go a long way to making me forget how they were in the films. This is Boromir and Faramir from the books.

A thirtysomething college student goes into the woods for a little R&R and ends up in Middle-earth...or in one version of it, anyway. She falls in with the Fellowship long enough to learn some basic survival skills before stepping through a mysterious interdimensional door. She finds herself in yet another version of Middle-earth, only this one is a lot different than anything Tolkien ever wrote about. This is a work in progress

Recommender's comments:
The best of the best of any story involving a woman from our world traveling to Middle-earth, but with Mordor very different to what we believe, a female Mouth of Sauron, and other incredible mysteries, it is far more than that.
