Yes, it's either one of them, or someone from their circle. As you say, they could have mentioned something, purposefully or otherwise. The police are checking them all out.

I know it's horrible to think of people you should be able to trust stealing from you, but yes, it does narrow it down at least.

The police are sure it's an inside job. No break in - so they either had a copy of my keys, or knew the vulnerable points in the house. They also know when I am at home or not -

Because my mother and stepfather were burgled once and are sure it was some-one who *knew* they were always out on a certain day in the afternoon/evening.

They could have taken my ipad, my portable music station, laptop, violin - but no - straight for the money.
