Summary: A test challenge to see if this feature works - and what better to use than my favourite pairing? Any and all stories with these two will be highly welcome, of course! :)

Summary: To celebrate the International Day of Slash 2012, we started a challenge where all participants got to choose five songs each, with the lyrics then serving as inspiration for the stories the other participants write.
You can find the songs everyone chose here: http://childrenofarda.shivtr.com/forum_threads/1158848

Summary: Summary: After a meal, fortune cookies (from Harad? Khand? Or maybe somewhere else?) are opened and the following fortunes are read:
1. Others see you as a wise person.
2. Company pays.
3. In the end all things will be known.
4. A good friendship is often more important than a passionate romance.
5. It is better to be the hammer than the anvil.
6. Listen to what you know instead of what you fear.
7. Keep your plans secret for now.
8. Establish harmony and balance in your life.
9. Doors will be opening for you in many areas of your life.
10. Family ties will be reestablished in the near future.
11. A romantic mystery will soon add interest to your life.
12. A smile is nearly always inspired by another smile.
Chose any number (and as many as you wish.) I've included twelve in case anyone wanted to write a Fellowship story, and maybe have Elrond and some of the other attendees at the Council participate too. Do they come true or not, and in what way(s)? You decide. Can be any Age, any pairing (slash or het) or no pairing (gen), any race. Go for it!

Summary: I'd love to see a story based on the thoughts of one of the Valar. Doesn't matter which; could be Varda, Manwe or even the elusive Vana we hear so little about. Even Melkor!
maybe set in a major event; i.e the Fall of Gondolin
or set before any of these event's happened, maybe when the Valar where still in the Timeless Halls getting ready for the beginning of time!

Summary: Replace the twelve dwarves in the Hobbit with pirates and see what happens!
The characters can keep their original names, or have new cool pirate names.
The plot of the story doesn't have to be stuck to rigidly. For example, the mountain could be changed to another pirate ship, or an underwater cavern. Smaug could become a kracken, or a sea serpant. Just have fun!
