I thought Druadan too- aboriginal though, certainly not Neanderthal- a sense of deep connection with the earth etc. Now.. back to those choc date crunches and rice pudding....

Naledi - I made a rice pudding with cardomom seeds in it. I cooked the pudding for ages, until the milk nearly disappeared and then added a whole can of evaporated milk just before serving. Divine!
